Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PayByResult collects, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is written in plain language and is not legal advice.

1. Who is responsible for your data

PayByResult ("the service", "we") is operated by Yevhenii Pavliukevych, an individual based in Poland (the "data controller"). For any privacy question, contact us at hello@paybyresult.app.

2. What data we collect

Account data — your email address and any name you provide when you create an account.
Content you create — the roles, pay formulas, metrics, and team-member details you enter into the service.
Payment data — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Technical data — basic, privacy-friendly usage statistics (such as page views and referrers) and information needed to keep you signed in.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to provide and operate the service, generate pay formulas, process payments, respond to your messages, keep the service secure, and meet our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service. Where required, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. AI processing

Pay formulas are generated with the help of a third-party AI provider. The role descriptions and related inputs you submit are sent to that provider to generate your result and to maintain the security and reliability of the service. PayByResult does not use your private content to train public AI models. Please do not enter unnecessary sensitive personal data into the service.

6. Who we share data with

We use trusted third-party providers to run PayByResult, including Stripe for payment processing, Lovable/Supabase for database and authentication, Netlify for website hosting, and Anthropic/Claude for AI generation. Depending on the service, these providers may act as our processors or as independent controllers under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

8. How long we keep data

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. You can exercise any of these by emailing hello@paybyresult.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).

10. Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to run the service. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. For usage statistics we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool that does not track or identify individual visitors over time.

11. Children

PayByResult is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
