These terms govern your use of PayByResult. Please read them before using the service. This document is written in plain language and is not legal advice.

1. The agreement

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Yevhenii Pavliukevych, an individual based in Poland, who operates PayByResult ("the service", "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. What the service does

PayByResult helps small businesses generate KPI-based pay formulas for roles in their team. It produces performance metrics, weights, and three performance tiers, which you can review, edit, share, and track.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding contract.

4. Free preview

You can generate one pay formula for free without an account, in view-only mode. We may limit free preview usage to prevent abuse. Saving, editing, sharing, and monthly calculations require a paid plan.

5. Plans, billing, and refunds

Paid plans (Core and Pro) are billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
Current prices are shown on the pricing page and again before checkout. Prices may exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
If PayByResult isn't the right fit, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund you in full.

6. Your content and responsibilities

You keep ownership of the roles, formulas, and team data you enter. You are responsible for that data and confirm you have the right to use any team-member information you input. You are solely responsible for how you set and pay compensation, and for complying with the employment, tax, and pay-transparency laws that apply to you.

7. Pay formulas are not professional advice

The formulas, metrics, and figures the service generates are informational suggestions produced with AI. They are not legal, tax, financial, or HR advice, and may contain errors. You should review every output and, where needed, consult a qualified professional before making compensation decisions.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by breaking the law, infringing others' rights, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or using it to harm others.

9. Intellectual property

We own the service, its software, and its design. You own the content you create. We may use aggregated, anonymized information to improve the service.

10. Availability and "as is"

We work to keep the service reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from compensation decisions you make based on the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. Saved formulas remain accessible in read-only mode after a paid plan ends.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the latest version; continued use after changes means you accept them.
